Though I concentrate on landscape in my art practice I really enjoy figurative work and specifically portraiture.
I undertook life classes many years ago, and more recently had extensive opportunity to draw from life and experiment widely at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia. I still attend a life class when I can.
Here you will find my selection of quick guesture drawings done in as little as 30 seconds, sketches and studies in ink or pastels, to multi-day acrylic and oil paintings.
