Within the painting you can see the bent, twisted and folded sheets of quartzite on the Ormiston cliff face and which are visible throughout the Western MacDonald Ranges. Ormiston offers an all-year round waterhole up to 14 metres deep and is a refuge for the near extinct Long-tailed Dunnart and the Central Rock Rat.
