Painted whilst at Byron Bay for six weeks during July and August 2020. I first sketched with my daughter before undertaking this studio work, with the benefit of making trips back to gaze at this scene. The painting features a white-bellied sea eagle, one of a pair often seen above the cliffs of beautiful Broken Head.
