In June 2019 I attended a wonderful art retreat run by ’Tuscany in the Frame’ and based at Villa Nobile in Cortona Tuscany. As part of a group of 10, accompanied by talented Australian artist Janet Knight, we ventured out to beautiful spots in the surrounding Tuscan countryside for plein-air painting. This was my last day’s work of the retreat painted from the small historic hill town of Monticchiello.
