I recently travelled through the brilliance of the Red Centre and Western MacDonnell Ranges. Both regions enthralled me beyond words. Consequently, like many artists before me, I could hardly wait to get back to the studio and turn the plein-air sketches and photographic impressions I’d made en route into vivid paintings.

I now look forward to sharing the results with you.

These Red Centre and MacDonnell Ranges images, as well as my large work Bondi Southerly, all delight in hyper realism, a celebration of intriguing detail where the viewer — you — is hopefully drawn into each nuance of the work. 

Please join me for this important event in my art journey, my first solo exhibition since completing a Bachelor of Arts at the National Art School. It's  on now until 9 September 2018, from 9 am to 5 pm. daily. I look forward to seeing you in picturesque Paddington in September!
