Gnarled

Kings Canyon is located at the western end of the George Gill Range about 323 kilometres southwest of Alice Spring. The walls of Kings Canyon are over 100 metres high with Kings Creek below. Near petrified trees stand testament to the harsh conditions amongst the upper plateau’s weathered pancake rocks that surround the canyon. As you walk along its ridge, small arrow signs point to the often hidden track amongst rocks and sheer cliffs.
