Farneta is a small enclave near Cortona in Tuscany Italy. This work was painted in around 4 hours as apart of a painting workshop with Tuscany in the Frame in June 2019.
The palette for the Italian landscape is so very different from that of Australia - here there is a predominant use of greens mixed with lemon yellow and Ultramarine blue.
