The Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans) is featured within my painting of Porters Pass, Blue Mountains - an oil on canvas. Here the Crimson Rosella is a frequent visitor, adding a splash of red to the forested green slopes of the Blue Mountains. It is an iconic Australian parrot native to Eastern Australia.
